scar healing
hi guys peppa was attacked over a month ago because some idiot didnt muzzle his aggressive little man syndrome dog he tore into her right cheek just under her eye with no warning which left her with a swollen eye and a nasty cut/graze cheek thank god he didnt take her eye out as it was very close to the eye thankfully it has all gone down now and the cut has healed but where the cut/graze was has left a scar and the hair hasnt grown back where she is white her bright pink skin really shows the scaring and we would like to know if the hair will ever grow back and avoiding scar tissue we are using aloe vera and sudo cream is there anything else we can do to help the hair to grow back will it ever grow back look forward to hearing suggestions on this thanks

Re: scar healing
I'm not really sure, the fur may grow back in time, the pinkness should definitely fade though x

Re: scar healing
Ron Dog was attacked in October and had a bite on his side which scabbed. His fur has just started to grow over but you can still see the line on his side where it was. I dont know if thats because he has black fur so it stands out more or is it a case of taking so long to heal.
He didnt have stitches and but was a deep scrape.
I was worried it would put him off making doggy friends but he is still receptive to meeting friends in the park.

Re: scar healing
The redness should fade in time and the hair may grow back too, Rocky has some scars on his head from where different dogs have attacked him in the past, we are still able to see the scars and the hair has grown back.
