sorry but i'm going to maon again

TEACHER need to stop bloody moaning!! everyone has changes in pay, pension and everything else!! stop bloody bitching and get on with your job like everyone else does!!

Thought we were all in trouble then!   

What annoys me is they keep the kids off for strike (mine didn't, but some local schools did for some years), yet if we want to take kids out of school for hols etc we would get fined £50 per person in the household!!

they get paid a lot they dont have an right to bitch about things like the less paid workers who are struggling!! we didn't ask them ot become an teacher they pick it them self!!!

That's right steve, I don't think they do badly at all!

they get good holiday breaks, some have 3/4 holiday a year! fancy house and cars

If we take molly out of school during term time we get fined £60 per parent! But they can strike and keep the out of school

let see how many of them fancy working in an factory for basic wage!! for 50 odd hours a week

Total insult sue, I agree, how can they justify it? Good for the holiday companies! I just take molly out a few days before the end of term and say she's sick! Xx

I don't blame you!

Don't get me started on teachers! the colleges here have 4 weeks off now for Easter! don't they want to work or teach the kids!   

I agree, with that many holidays I would happily work long hours!

As someone who doesn't have a right to strike and who's pension contributions have increased again and will have to work to at least 65 I have no sympathy with the teachers at all

It gets me well mad!!

I would like the whole education system redone to include year round school with a two week break between semesters. Long breaks are not good for educational development and teachers do have too much time off.

me to lee but i bet the teacher would have an heart attack becasue that be messing around with their holidays lol

Of course I also believe in raising teachers salaries and imposing performance standards to recieve tenure. The education systems have gone downhill and this would fix it.

Year round school with well paid teachers would enhance student performance and attract well qualified and dedicated teachers. I've met too many teachers that can barely write on a high school graduate level.
