Re: Exercise..
Vin gets a road walk in mornings for 45 mins. Then a lunchtime walk for 30/45 mins then early evening walk for an hour. Sometimes I do a longer lunchtime one and a shorter evening one. All depends on weather if I think its going to rain then I get his longest one done as and when

Re: Exercise..
It varies from day to day with my shifts but minimum of a comfort walk morning and night and between 2-3 other trips out mix of longer walks and or ball play til Ledger gets tired and asks to go home
This morning he had 20mins when I got up, half hour walk and ball play with the dog walker while I was at work, ball play with me when I got home, he pestered for a comfort walk an hour later, and is now gearing up to ask for his before tea walk, he will then have a comfort walk before and after I go to the gym at 7pm .....and sleep

Re: Exercise..
Lula has a 25minute walk between 10 and 11am she gets let out into the back garden as much as she wants to run around and play with her football or big stick. The next walk is when my daughter comes home which is between 3:30pm and 5pm.
Yesterday she did not have a walk because of the weather and she was a little bugger last night for me. So these morning i got up and made sure she had a walk, luckily it was not raining. My daughter was home early today so she played in the back with her. we took her for a walk and for part of it she was a bit of a bugger jumping up. I was going to cut the walk short but my daughter talk me into going the park. Lula behave like a little angel for the rest of her walk. My daughter thinks she doesn`t like going a different way on a walk.
I may try going a little further in the morning because i think the walk not really tiring her out. Or take the longer lead and let her run of so more energy

Pretty much this varying too but my son has a new job now so can't do her lunch time walk and I can't walk ver far so I'm considering a dog walker xx

Re: Exercise..
Alfie has around an hour in the morning and 30-45 mins pm (because have my 3yr old little legs with me then). He always worn out from the stress of being out anyway. Also have had to build him up as he was not used to being walked. Added to this we have good old ball playing sessions in the garden, which usually exhaust him!

Re: Exercise..
half an hour in the morning and half an hour just before tea,we have found lately to shorten her walks slightly as they really tire her out if she has longer and she sleeps for ages after, her walks are always off lead so she goes at her pace

Re: Exercise..
Ah spoilt doggies all sounds great! I really struggle with bugs walking times, as it's impossible to walk her between 7-9 and 5-7 due to EVERYBODY else in the world walking their dogs at those times and her loosing her sh*t and just shutting down, so she'll generally get two 45 minute walks or one big 2 hour one in the middle of the day. If we've got a full day off she gets about 4 hours.

Re: Exercise..
Dog park in the morning with a 45 minute walk and about an hour of off leash play. 1-3 hour walk late afternoon depending on our schedule and a couple games of tug of war during the day.

Jed goes out for 20 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes at night/afternoon, ball chasing every morning and night, on the weekends we go to the dog park for about an hour and he runs and runs with the other dogs, plus he is continuously chasing the cat

evening walk is two to three miles out in the park.

I've found a cheap alternative to a "go pro" which is just as good. it has a bike mount so I'll have a few vids of me being dragged through the undergrowth after deer no doubt lol. Its the only way of getting any pics or vids as I aint taking my hands of the handlebars for nothing

Re: Exercise..
normal is 15 mins early morning walk, 2-2.5 hrs main walk at around mid day. 20-30 min walk late evening. If I am on early shifts then 15 mins early walk, 1-1.5 hrs mid day/early afternoon walk with my neighbour, 1 hrs walk as soon as I get home. Also atleast 2x per week we will run together using our canix gear, we run 3 miles to a park, he is let off for 30 mins off lead mess around, then run 3 miles back. Once per week I take him for a long run where he runs off lead beside me for up to 15 miles, or we take the bikes and have him run alongside/just in front of us. The longest he has run whilst we were biking was for 5 hours, no idea of the miles cuz we got abit lost. Like Nathan we will be buying a bike joring arm to attatch to the bike because its fun cycling with him off lead until you run into an area with lots of other dogs, then its a pain in the butt.
Walks involve multiple games of fetch and tug. He also has 10-15 mins of play wrestling with my OH when he gets home from work.

Debo has really quick one at 6am, he's not impressed with that, than he's back to sleep with daddy. 10am 1hr walk lead on/off plus frisbee, another 40min at 3, picking up mummy from work. And short one at 7pm and bed time. In between walks daddy plays with him with rope, ball and running around the house like crazy, playing hide and seek.Weekends are differents with more playdates.

wooh double gang line arrived today and well impressed. Going to spend a couple of weeks getting them used to it. Tonight they just wanted to play fight and ended up in a giant knot although they did pull well together once the saw a squirrel. ...
Spoke to a realy nice lady last night who has agreed to make some made to measure harnesses for them both as they are crosses they have a bigger chest to kneck size to a normal sled dog...staffy influence there me thinks lol.

Brodys walks vary from day to day but I do try get about 3 walks per day, I've been taking him out 2-3 miles pulling me on the bike and he loves it but this might be a bit to much as he's very tired after that, but he's fairly toning up now.
I got the dog walking app for my phone and I'm at 28miles in a week so not bad I think lol

Re: Exercise..
Pixee too is a buggar to get out early in the mornings, if I can get her out early, its a half hour walk. If I cant get her out, its a hours walk around 10am. Half hour play around 2pm in the park with sticks, or frisbee or just us two running round, she will chase any big black birds across the fields on my say so and over a hours walk around 5 to 6pm. Sometimes she gets a 20 min walk last thing around 9pm. Weekends are our walking times when hubby is not working, so we pack a backback and go for miles with a pub visit half way, which Pixee has come to love. theres always ball games play in the house too.
