Can you mix natural yogurt to dry puppy food?

Re: Natural yogurt
I would imagine that it would ok! Just like if you added some sardines, water or gravy to dry biscuits

Re: Natural yogurt
You can but not too much as it can upset tummies! A small spoonful should be fine though

Re: Natural yogurt
A little yoghurt is great for them.
Do be careful of apple cores and seeds - they're poisonous for dogs

Re: Natural yogurt
Thank you..It's just that she has gone off her dry food! I have feed her it for the last 8 months when I got her and last week she just walked away and did not touch it...I have always added eggs and sardines and even with that mixed in she just walks away..so I feed her raw mince in the morning with a pigs trotter and dry at night with some yogurt mixed in to try and tempt her.

Re: Natural yogurt
She is 9 months in 2 weeks..She has become a proper fussy eater..Sometimes I have to hide cheese or ham in her food for her to even take any notice of it.

Re: Natural yogurt
I wouldn't even bother trying to get Biscuit to eat dry food, must be so boring for them. Try not to pander to her too much though or you'll create an even fussier eater. Which brand is it?

Re: Natural yogurt
Could you try mixing a spoonful or two or the wainwright meat in with it? Completely cover all biscuits with it and ass a few drops of warm water to really cover it of needs be. Worked to get my kennel dogs working, no need to waste good cheese and ham, they're your best training treats!!

Re: Natural yogurt
I put her on the wainwrights wet trays and she loved them but she was poo 15 times a day..don't get me wrong she loves food just not dry for some reason even though I mix it up with geds and fish..maybe she is bored of it! But the raw mince in the morning she woods down and at night I have to cook the mince and mix it in to make sure she gets the dry..I tried the yogurt and she licks the it off the kibble! Not daft are they ha! But I will try what you suggested thank you

Re: Natural yogurt
Jeez.. sounds like something may be disagreeing with her with the trays then. I fed raw for a year or so but have since moved house and had to leave our giant chest freezer behind and can't afford another for now, so I feed nature diet. Works out at about 50p a day if you buy through a wholesaler, the ingredients are similar to wainwrights but i've never had a problem with excessive poo's when feeding it!
