Hi, now that I've moved house I have far more places I can take Brody for walks where no one will be around so he can run wild and I was planning on taking him when I go out on my bike but would you say 1hr running along side me would be to much for a 8 yr old?
Obviously wouldn't be cycling to fast for him. Or is 8yr old not really classed as that old

Yeh he's fit but wasn't sure if maybe running would be bad for his joints at his age. It wasnt till i movef to my new town ive had so many people ask his age and then they say oh hes getting old so its made me a little paranoid lol.

sash is going to be ten this year and still runs around like a pup!i dont think they ever grow up to be honest, just see how he handles 20 minutes and take it from there, you dont have to go like Bradley Wiggins!

Yes I would do as Stella has said perhaps 15/20 mins then build it up. I am sure you will notice obvious signs if he has had enough.

Also he may be fine while you are out, but may stiffen up later or the next day. Watch out for any signs of him over doing it. If he is fine, gradually add 5-10 mins a week and see if he has a limit.

Should be fine as long as you build up slowly. Even then I think I would not exceed 30 minutes just to be safe.
