Hi All... Newbie To The Forum
Hi Everyone
I am new to the staffies but have fallen in love with the breed... I already own a male un-neutered cocker spaniel who is 3yrs old and is so laid back its unreal. But my parents and my sister have male staffies one of them lives with a greyhound and the other with other staffs and they all get along fine. I would really like one of my own to join me and my family but am unsure if it is a good idea and if it will take to my dog? Would I be better of getting a female or would I be ok to get another male, I am happy to get him done if this causes less issues. The puppies are only 3 weeks old at present and I am hoping to go and see them soon and see which one chooses us. But of course that all depends on the advice I get.
Thanks everyone for reading and look forward to all your help
Regards
Dee

Hello from me and Poppy
and also welcome to the forum!
Right, I'd say get a female staffy because your cocker spaniel is 3 years, it will be easier for him to get along with a female, this will definately cause less issues than getting another male doggy. Have one of them done, makes everything easier. I have a female staffy and male jack russell, my Poppy has been spayed and we're considering getting Mylo done too.
Good luck, and hope you'll find this forum useful.

Hi & welcome.
I agree with Aggie, get a female & have one of your dogs neutered - it will save 'accidents'!
