Help needed
Big ask but is there anyone in the southampton area who would be prepared to take in 2 staffies for a few days.
This is the situation:my brother and his partner have seperated and he has moved into rented accomodation which do not allow dogs but his ex has today dumped the 2 dogs outside his work place and told him they are his problem. He cant take them home and doesn't want to take them to a dogs home.He has no transport and is just walking around with them with no idea what to do.He has no real friends down there as all his family and friends are here in the west midlands. All he needs is someone to take them in for a few days so he can sort a place for them.

Re: Help needed
If there is no family able or willing to help (only 2.5 hours drive from West Mids to Soton ?), it could be best to take them to a proper kennels where they can be looked after properly until he is able to sort out a permanent satisfactory arrangement for them. Most kennels can be relied upon for ensuring that dogs are competently looked after: exercised, fed, kept warm, separated from other dogs if necessary etc. It would be a stop-gap solution suitable for the kind of situation that you describe.

Re: Help needed
Please ask him to contact a rescue centre and ask about foster care for dogs, many will provide this as a service until something more permanent can be arranged for them.

Re: Help needed
Thank you for your replies,i am currently trying to persuade him to take them to the police tonight or to the blue cross in the morning. I did forget to mention that we all have our own dogs up here and it's just not possible to take in 2 more otherwise i would be on my way down there now.
