do you have an some protection in your bedroom?

i have baseball ball under my bed just in case does anybody do the same?

I wondered what you meant aswell! My OH sleeps with a massive knife next to him to some reason lol! I was a little concerned when I first saw it but now it's part of the furniture..

Those batons, Steve - I have a girly sized one for my bag and the OH has the manly sized one. Same goes for our pepper sprays - ooo and pocket knives too - he got us "his n hers" knives   But then again, it's the norm for us. On my side of the bed I usually have a Roxy and a Vinny.

The OH has just reminded me of his sword under the bed and airsoft gun in the spare room - and the cross bow in the cupboard. We also have an alarm, security bars on every window and security gates at each entrance door and our bedroom door and live in a blocked off, boomed off, security-guard monitored area - it's actually very, very, very depressing!!

I've never really thought about it for me.. But to be fair my boyfriend is an ex marine and my dog is irrationally angry so I don't need to worry all that much! Though it'd probably be me protecting Biscuit lol!

Nothing for us, it's really safe over here. Now when I was in the US I had weapons all over the place.

Tbh anyone breaking in can take stuff, I have nothing sentimental that cant be replaced, Ledger would bark and alert me/give them a scare if I thought anyone was in the house the bed would be moved across the door and I'd just get straight on the phone no way I'm putting myself in harms way

Most burglers will have done a bit of homework and would pick a house without a dog those that haven't are like more likely drugged up, or needing to be, with adrenaline high so hitting them with a baton may have no effect. I've seen guys just stand there and giggle after a fully trained officer has given all they've got into a baton strike (and we use the PR24 side handle jobbys).

The OH has a metal baseball bat by the back door and Steve we have one of those flick out metal baton things! Don't ask where the OH got it from it was a long time ago :/ Bane makes a good house alarm but I would hate for him to get involved in anything in case he got badly hurt!

I would phone my Mother In Law get her over, she can nag them into leaving   

The the sight of me half asleep would do the trick to scare anyone away!

baton was banned in 2004 so dont take it out with you ;)well dont flick it out in public lol

ive got a knife that pops out when you press the button illegal I think but had it a long time
