Marquez two new favourite things to do

As some of you know, Marquez had a shocking day on Friday with 3 seizures. Fortunately there haven't been any more since his last one at 4pm friday. I can say that he is definitely back to his normal and energetic self and has been even more active and has 2 new favourite things to do, especially with Angel

The first video is of him with our modified version of a springpole. I actually made it the a couple of weeks ago but he wasn't really interested in it UNTIL this weekend. He started playing tug of war with his towel with Angel so I had the idea of putting his towel on his "springpole" and it worked like a charm. Now he plays with it even though the towel is now gone.



And we also discovered that not only does he like playing "Tug of War" with a towel, he also loves to lie down on his belly and be dragged   

Aww bless him.. It's great learning what they have fun with and so pleased that he is much better  

Our version of a springpole.... rope, a couple of exercise bands, old lead and tugging rope. Towel added later and now gone
I initially got the idea from this youtube link but couldn't find the springs, d-rings or clips in our local ACE hardware so had to improvise.

Hope Marquez is ok.

The thing with the tummy drag has now become a regular thing for him - he absolutely loves it

He is such a cutie! Looks like he is having a fab time and that Springpole thinger is a great idea!! Might have to see if we can make one for Bane to keep himself occupied

Definitely give it a go - Marquez spends most of his times indoors but every time he goes outside, he will play with it and really seems to enjoy it   

Would have to find a bit on the back of the house without a window that we can attach it too
