Got Jed de-sexed today

Got Jed de-sexed today, he is doing well after the operation, has been very lively since we got home, he didnt want to sit still, kept harassing the poor cat, he was running around like super dog, jumping up on the bed, it took me awhile to get him settled down again, i was so worried about his stitches and he got the wobbles a couple of times, poor bub, his hormones must be going around in circles   

Awww Jed, he must be working on adrenalin. Rocky wasn't very bothered after he had been done at the rescue centre we thought he would need a few weeks to recover, who were we trying to kid ??

You say he can't sit still, I imagine sitting is a delicate action at the moment. Hope he heals well and quickly.

Wouldnt even know he has had it done, i was expecting him to be a bit groggy and feeling sorry for himself but he is his usually cheeky self this morning, definitely not in pain, he has a heap of pent up energy, a nice walk in the park is in order i think   

Never had a male, but with bitches its more the internal stitches you have to worry about, hence why for a few days you really should keep them un active as hard as it is.

the vet said to start walking him again today and that he can go to training monday night, it sure is different than 20 years ago when i had a dog done, gave Jed a pigs ear and that kept him quiet for a few hours

Hi Tony, it isnt bothering him at all, he can sit etc with no pain, i was even hesitant giving him his pain medication this morning as he hasnt got any at all, i am still keeping him quiet as i can and trying to stop him from chasing the cat all over the place   

Glad all went well with Jed, our Lucy was spade on Tuesday and "Yes" the operations done today are not as invasive as they were years ago.

Jed is doing really well and hasnt needed to get a cone for his head, all is healing nicely, stitches come out in 5 days   

So pleased he is doing well!
