Re: Charity
If you can't act the charity of your choice they could tell you how to, but I think you just do it and give them the money. I know someone who done an individual run once

Re: Charity
canix do a half marathon called the Neolithic half marathon at stone henge, could be worth a look. You would have to do another canix race first or they wont allow you and your dog has to be atleast 2 years old. Im hoping to do it next year with calvin, hes too young to enter this year.

Re: Charity
Rolo and I and a few of our friends joined the local walk to raise money for Macmillan Cancer nurses, it was a 10k walk around a local stately home that allowed dogs in the grounds. It was great fun Rolo and I also walked 8 miles along a local Canal to raise money for a rescue dog that needed eye surgery, I just picked the route and asked people to sponsor us, we raised £108, had a fab day, including a picnic lunch and meeting lots of canal boat dogs along the route Good luck

Re: Charity
I did walking for woofers last year which raised cash for ddawatch and my friend has just done a 350mile bike ride for them. Speak with the charity of your choise as they will have lots of ideas and good ways to help raise cash. They will also help with promoting your event which is a great help. Just a word of advice...set your goals low and be happy for every pound raised. We got next to nothing for our event and nathan got just over £500 for his mammoth ride. People are skint and its hard times for alot of us. And...sadley some just dont care. Personally cancer charities are my second to dogs so if you go through with it you can count on me sponcering you.
