My dog is not enjoying raw diet
Over recent months I have found Roxie is walking away from her raw food more and more. I always vary the diet, she gets regular fish (which usually encourages her to eat with relish) but over the last couple of weeks it has been getting more and more difficult.
Maisey is on Hills Prescription L/D as she is still under medication from the vet following being very ill with a poorly liver and I noticed that whenever she could Roxie would rush to Maisey's bowl to finish off whatever was in there (I mix her food with a little Forthglade meat which is really good quality).
Over the week-end I bought from Lilly's Kitchen kibble and mixed this with some Forthglade meat and Roxie ate as if she had never been fed??
Is it common for dogs to go off their raw food? I have a freezer full of it?
If I continue to use a really good quality food, would it be okay to bring her off raw or should I try her back on it again over the next couple of weeks??
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: My dog is not enjoying raw diet
Sorry I dont feed raw, I did try, but Pixee hated it. She much prefers human food cooked. I feed her Wainwrights, so far she hasnt gone off it. She hated dried food. I reckon dogs do get fed up with the same old food, but as you vary the diet, perhaps she just does not like raw????

There is no reason not to go back to kibble if that's what you choose but personally I would stick with raw. I only converted recently but the only thing I have found is that Daisy is a bit lazy if she's not really hungry won't bother with the meat on bone.

Biscuit went off poultry (won't touch raw chicken or turkey now) but will eat the rest of it. Other than that she still wolfs it down!
