Footie and meeting My mum's aggressive dog
So proud of my little fella he met my mums dog again for the first time in about a year as my mums dog can be aggressive with other doggies. Anyway they used to play together when they were pups. We held axl on his lead in the front garden and they brought Harry out on his lead and the reaction was amazing both dogs were so happy to see each other! Tails wagging and a bit of bashing and boxing they were fab :d. We separated them again as things will be taken slowly but it's looking good yay!
Then axl played footie with his hooman grandad in the garden and this is what he looked like for the rest of the day lol.

Thats brillant. I think dogs remember who their friends are. I love that picture, one happy tired dog there.

Lynn I agree, I really to think they remember each other, maybe that's just me being silly but the reaction to each other was like long lost brothers lol

Oh bless! What breed is their dog? Can they have a proper play around? Biscuit's best friend is a little yorkie, she only sees him a few times a year but she goes nuts!! Can't play though cause he's too small, she knocked him over last time he came down and he rolled into a puddle

Re: Footie and meeting My mum's aggressive dog
Yeah it did make me smile, bless. My mum's dog is an English Setter, he's 3 years old and still in tact and a bit of a bully with other dogs, he'll go and growl at them for no reason, I think he may be a bit fear aggressive though. Axl loved him when they were puppies, Harry was nearly a year old and Axl was about 5 months (I think), they used to run and play for hours but since Harry has become a bit aggressive my mum won't let me bring Axl out on walks with them just in case Harry starts something. This was a slow introduction to see if we can eventually walk together so I'm quite excited about it

It would be great to have a walking buddy in the family as it were. Sounds like they would be OK but quite right to take things slowly to begin with, well done for getting that far.
