why do people fall for nutcase?

just watching the following i know it's made up but over the years there have been OH male and female that do whatever to stay with their partners why? why would you stay with someone who abuse or killed so many people?

Goodness knows   

They are usually insecure and don't want to be alone and someone no matter how crazy is better than nobody   

Crazy!

Usually an underlying reason why they do   

An ex of mine had been in prison for violent crimes, however I didn't know about this until we had been together for a little while. The nature of it did really concern me though, and we weren't together for very long after but we're still really close friends now. If it was in the past, people can change, but in the present I don't understand it either, as Claire has said, sometimes it's insecurity?

All our mother boards (brain) are not wired the same. They are researching all the time specifically those severe and complex mental health disabilits Cardiff being one of the main studies area.

They say if a person sees the abuse at home abuse as a child at home then they seek the same as to them it is a daily thing.
