What's a newsagent?   

and small shop

Place that sells, newspapers, magazines and sweets and cigarettes   

Cant remember the last time I went in one, always go to the supermarket!

Don't have anything like it   

i dont think we will have in 10/12 year time the supermarket are out pricing them

Can't say I ever go in one now either, there are a few in town but most have become mini marts. Used to love them as a kid for 20p of kola cubes or rhubarb and custards

i go and get my super cheap red stripe £1 an can you can go wrong   

Used to buy the sun religiously x

Oo Lisa they are great shops lots of things to look at and old fashioned sweetie shops with big jars of sweets which are weighed out for you I actually buy newspapers

Sadly these shops are another part of our tradition which we are loosing. Supermarkets have a lot to answer for
