The little pee-er
So annoyed today! Got home at lunch time to find Knox, after months and months or being such a good boy, has decided to get on our bed and pee! Not just a little accident pee but two big pees! Both on Matt's side of the bed as well.
Have had to strip the bed all the way down to the mattress - luckily it didn't go through to the mattress but it went through two pillows, a duvet and the bottom sheet and mattress protector.
He knew he'd done bad as soon as I walked in the house too lol the little bugger was sitting in the front room dipping his head.
Just wish I knew why he had these lapses from time to time

Re: The little pee-er
It could have been that something disturbed him while you were out. Not much you can do really only clean it up, unless you want to go back to basics with toilet training.
How long was he left for ?, did he have the chance to go outside before being left home alone ?

I feel your pain, Axl is 2 now but sometimes, for no reason at all that I can think of, he wees on the bloody bed it drives me crazy as its such a pain to wash the duvet but as I said there's no reason for him doing it, in fact the last time he did it I had taken him out for a wee just before so I know its not because he needed to go :s I think he was scenting or something, its only happened twice in two years but yeah, like I said, I feel your pain!

Re: The little pee-er
Thanks guys. he had plenty of wees this morning. He's out every morning for a 45 minute walk. He's left for four hours and then I come home and walk him at lunch and then he's left again for four hours in the afternoon followed by more walks lol
It doesn't happen very often but it's just so frustrating when it does.
He's been good as gold this afternoon and its highly likely something disturbed him whilst I was out as he's very sound sensitive x

Biscuit has done this to me 3 times.. Once when I brought foster puppy home, and on two other occasions when I first started seeing my OH! I think she was protesting the change lol! Little cowbag, had to buy a new mattress!!

I'm starting to think they do it to get back at us for something lol
Maybe you hugged your OH more than Knox so he thought he'd get back at him for it lol

Could you try shutting the bedroom door while you are out?

Re: The little pee-er
oh good God no. he can't be shut in he hates it. He's managed to previously jump two stair gates stacked on top of one another at the bottom of the stairs (over 7ft) and really hurt himself doing it. I swore I'd never shut him in anywhere again xx

Re: The little pee-er
Suki has done this as well and on my side of the bed. We keep the door shut when we are out now. The house is small but she still has the couch and her beds to use.

Re: The little pee-er
We keep Flo off the bed because.. Well she is a little special needs sometimes. Ok that's not quiet true.. She is just special needs lol.
We keep her out of the bedroom for 2 reasons.. First, she makes so much noise at night that it's like trying to sleep next door to an airport, and second, she's a chewer. Toes in particular and that can really make a mess.
Luckily she is really good in the house unless she has an upset tum, which happens rarely.
If I were to guess, If this is a rare occurrence then it would suggest being spooked by something.
