where you live

10 years ago it was rare to hear an different accent here where i live, these days it an real mix there a lot of Yorkshire people here, irish people a hell a lot of southerners.


is it the same for you?

Yep not many of us original foresters left now, a lot of foreigners too   

we dont have that many foreigners there one on my road and one i know on my sister that just next to me i hear that odd polish person, we get a lot of Sheffield, leeds and manchester

Its very studenty where I live so yes lots   

I would say quite a few northerners well from all over really   

i was talking to an woman from Sheffield move down here to be with her oh who was clifton lad, she had an staffy she attack sam    she was going for his throat, i was pretty shock becasue he just stood there and just taking it normally if that happen he not happy even it smaller dog maybe she was coming in season

he loved it inez it reminded me when billie drag him across the kitchen floor by his skin in his neck that what i was wondering if she was due to come on season

sam got hell a lot of loose skin around his nexk

Oh well perhaps he didn't want to upset the hormonal lady   

I live in Plymouth so yes!! Marines and students.. Lived in Cornwall and Bristol before that and they were the same really.. Big mix to be fair I'm one of them though!

i love hearing different accents that why i like going blackpool its like accent galore

Bristol, LOAD of different accents, we got above average ethnic minorities in all schools, won be long before bristolians are the minority

Mostly Polish here and also a small Thai community, with an MMU campus also a fair few students but many like me moved here originally as the transport links are amazing and property is cheap so not so many of the Crewe/Stoke

The Polish bakery round the corner is amazing if a little dangerous as the cakes are huge and I really don't take enough advantage of the Thai and Caribbean supermarkets there's some awesome stuff in them

In our town we are lucky if we hear another English accent, it's all Polish and eastern European   I don't go into town much now unless I really have to (certain shopping) and definitely never on my own.

Also being a Shropshire lass and from the 'city' of Shrewsbury I don't have a strong natural accent. I think it was Dave Gorman that did a sketch on being from Stafford and not having a distinctive accent and I certainly notice that wherever I go I pick up on that accent unfortunately that sometime sounds like im taking the *
