Is anybody a crafter here??

Hello all

Just thought I would see if any of you are crafters, I am i make handmade cards, children's hair accessories and wooden gifts <<< hence work from home was once a hobby then turned into my own little business. Which works brill for me as i get to spend time at home with Prince and Star and other half when he is off work but not only that means im in comfort if i need a break i can, Started to do this due to my health i have a disability known as Fibromyalgia and a few other problems.

Soooo come on then folks if your not a crafter what are your hobbies

Oh cool Steve, When i first started i used to go classes, But now I normally have a regular crafty session with one of my closest friends who also makes cards and runs her own business, Some people ask how we can work side by side when we do the same thing simple really were so different in our styles etc Plus helps the day go by and get things done especially when its custom orders and we get to have a got natter and laugh while getting work done lol

How long has she been doing that for? :0

since she retired she goes with her ex work friends it just an place where they keep in touch and have an chat, they make some pretty cool stuff also

yea she always came back with an smile on her face, i need to find something similar but i'm very shy around new people

I used to crochet but haven't done any for years   

I don't as such myself but my Mother In Law also makes her own cards. I would love to do something but don't really know where to start. I would love to make childrens clothes as we have a sewing machine and I am quite creative. It's just getting the kick up the bum to get started

I like crafty stuff, I do a bit of sewing and tapestry   

I mainly cross stitch, but also knit

I've tried knitting but can't see to get into it! Need a lot more practice!

I like cross stitch but haven't tried since we've had Katy   My dad's a great woodturner   

i used to like the friendship bands at school or pom pom balls lol

I used to make friendship bands at school!

 i was the master at them i used to make and swap them for fag lmao

My Dad does this too, he is known to disappear for days into his workshop with his lathe

Dad only disappears when its warm in the shed, he does craft fairs to get a bit of cash back but he's way to cheap unless its something I want
