As you know Vinny's suffering with his fur and the heat. He obviously prefers to lie on the tiles at the minute to keep cool, but I've read it can lead to calluses on the elbows/knees (lying frequently on hard surfaces) and both he and Roxy are getting dry elbows. Besides moisturising with the likes of coconut or olive oil, any ideas? (Besides padding the house with cushions and getting them elbow guards  Laughing )

I read on the net of someone who bought baby socks, cut the toes off and put those over like mini leg warmers - I fancy that idea, but perhaps in winter  Laughing

Cant wait to see the two Vinnies leg warmers!!  Laughing

Would they lie on a thin towel, so they still feel the cool tile underneath but it gives them a bit of softnest between them and the hard floor?

Are you able to get hold of cool mats over there Lisa, maybe worth a try, although they will still be lying down though  Sad :

Oh thank you Kathy, I'll look into that. I've tried following him around with a cushion but he just prefers to be cool, so those mats (or a wet towel as flowerbud says) may be the answer Smile
