Wizs fooood
Hey guys so I was just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on wizs din dins. Wiz has just turned 1 and I want to change his food from boring old dry biscuits. I've recently been mixing in bakers new wet food as good as it looks. Which looks really good full of meat and vegetables and isn't like the crap in the tins. He loves it! Is this suitable for him because on the box it's more smaller dogs but then when do you ever see our beautiful staffies on the box
Thanks guys
Thanks guys

Hi Char, to be honest bakers is not a good food, full of fillers and additives. This is our recommended list but also wainrights and jameswellbeloved are good. Which dry food do you currently use?

Good things to mix in are tinned sardines in oil or tomato sauce, a raw egg or a little cooked mince

I've tried him on them nicer brands and he won't eat it. He's such a fussy boy. I've been feeding him bakers meaty chunks with that tastes as good as it looks with it. And he's eating a lot more and two meals a day. Ohh god I thought it was good for him he's soo fussey x

Bakers is vile, sorry!! I've found nature diet to be great, all good ingredients and cheap.. 99p a tray. Never known a dog not to eat it!

Re: Wizs fooood
It would be beneficial to his health and behaviour if you could get him onto a better quality food. Feeding something like Bakers is like feeding a child just on smarties and junk food, you can imagine how this makes them behave.
When changing foods please do so gradually over the course of about 7 - 10 days by gradually adding the new food to the old and introduce more of the new each day until he is completely on the new food.

Re: Wizs fooood
Check the package of the food, most kibble will be a complete food so need to add the wet to it, we just add a little cooked cooled chicken, sardines or raw egg to Rockys food (Barking Heads) just to make it a bit more interesting for him.

Re: Wizs fooood
The reason they always wolf bakers down is because of the additives
