Hello everyone! Been away for a long time, I think I have found the right site. I have two beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terriers, that are mother and son. Our dogs are part of our family. The female recently was bitten by a snake, and has recovered well, being the second time in 12 months finding a snake in our backyard, and being bitten. We just pay the vet bills, she's well worth every cent, and she's nearly 7 years old. Our Male is just over 3 years old, and has the same "excitable" qualities as his mother, but he is a "Licker" - blehk, I'm sure he thinks I'm part of his family, and he's only greeting me, but he insists on jumping up to my face while I'm walking. (still working on that) So -Happy to talk to others that have these precious creatures!

hiya , welcome back ........ you just made me think with this post , scotland does actually have one thing going for it , there is only 1 venomous snake here , the adder and the chances of one being in a built up area is like 0 . glad the pooch is getting better

hi there... glad your precious girl will be okay. Not sure where you live in the world, I live In Western Australia and have alot of close calls with tiger snakes... one of my real fears for my 2 doggies...they are nasty and very aggressive snakes, and we get alot where we are.. Sad
