Staffy when the football is on Empty Staffy when the football is on

Post by jshrew Sun Jan 19 2014, 00:03

Well got to my parents after work to collect Ledger and immediately got snapped at by my brother for letting Ledger in from the conservatory to the living room "HE's OUT THERE FOR A REASON!" well then I noticed that Liverpool were 0-2 down which explained the stinking attitude.

I wanted a quick catch up with the 'rents and a brew before driving home so sat there while my brother shouted at the players and ref on the screen Ledger was clung to me like a limpet every time my brother shouted Ledgers ears went back and he shook. Seems when my bro had started shouting Ledger thought he was upset and tried to snuggle with him so my bro shouted at Ledger to get down then shut him out in the conservatory out of the way  Crying or Very sad

Just wondered if anyone elses staffy has this reaction if they or a family member gets over excited at the tv after Liverpool scored my bro noticeably calmed down so I took the * a bit figuring sarcasm about his behaviour was better than getting angry myself - what would everyone else have done?

Mia is exactly the same. My son supports Liverpool and the first half cos they played badly my son was shouting at the telly. Mia was a quivering wreck on my lap, she just couldn't understand it. So I sent my son to his bedroom to watch the rest of the game cos of Mia's reaction. She hates any kind of shouting

Darcy is scared I'd her own shadow Rolling Eyes so any raised voices she hates, I'd have shut your brother in the conservatory and frightened to see how he likes it. furious poor ledger I'm sure he got lots of mummy snuggles to help him forget xxx

If Rocky hears people shouting on the TV he does get very stressed, now that we now this we hit the mute button at the first signs of anyone arguing on there and the situation is difused.

The gets very excited still when we have visitors, my Mum & Dad came around the other night and we were surprised how quickly he calmed down again though once we told them to be calm, Mum & Dad can be a bit loud sometimes.

Pixee hates any kind of shouting, she shakes too. I would have stuck your brother outside and ban him from football till he showed some respect to Ledger.
