Molly update
After convincing myself that all will be fine I got a phone call from the vet at about 8.30 last night to say that the heart monitor had picked up iregularities while she was sleeping, 60 times during the night her heart had a problem apparently. I am working away over the weekend and he is not there today so I have to take her in on mon morning, She is fine while exercising right up to 240 bpm but the problem is when she is asleep. It doesn't help but I am sure I have felt what her heart does when it goes wrong.
I was hoping to get the all clear, the vet did say that it was good that she didnt have her original op as the anastetic could have killed her.
Will let you know what happens.
How do I get spell check on here ???
Thanks
Barry

Re: Molly update
Awww Molly, hope she is OK, I'm sure there is some medication that will help. Daisy has a heart murmur and they just said that she may need medication when she's older and told me what to look out for. xx

Re: Molly update
At least you know now what the problem is and it is can be sorted probably by medication. As for the spell checker I used to have it on my computer but not now, don't know where it went

Re: Molly update
Thank you all.. I have been working away this week but moly has been well looked after, we are still waiting for results of blood test but she seems ok in herself and got up straight away when I went down this morning which is an improvement, especially as she only had 6hrs lol. will take her to her to the beach later.

Thank you for asking, I am still waiting for the blood test results, I have rung them again today, she is still not right but ok in herself, she just seems tired, I ran her fora short while yesterday and she started to overheat after, her temprature seemed to just go up, so I stood her in the wind and gave her water to cool her.. so I cant even run her now, she loves running it is such a shame..
Hoping the vet will ring later..
Thanks
Barry

Re: Molly update
The blood test results came back normal, and the vet said that we should leave it there, he then said if she has a fit or passes out or anything like that I should return, he also said to give him a call in a month and it would be ok for her to go under anesthetic so she can be spayed... my own vet has said that we should leave the op for a time..
I am confused? What is wrong with her heart ? and what happens in her sleep.
On a lighter note... it gets worse !!! we are due to go away in march with the family and two breeding males, I have done my sums and molly is due in season around that time ... There might be a bit of howling going on lol

Re: Molly update
I'm glad to hear that they couldn't find anything wrong with her, but also sad that you didn't get an answer I'm sorry I haven't any experience in the matter to offer any advise, all I can say is that I hope she improves and returns back to her usual self.

Re: Molly update
Well its good, the blood results are normal. But like you say, whats wrong with her heart. Surely theres more they can do to find out? What about a heart scan, they are good at picking up things?
