mouthy
Hi Jim is slightly mouthy esp with my partner, he doesn't do it too me much at all, though today when i came home he was bouncy and showed his teeth at me when he was jumping up, i don't know whether he was smiling or being peed off at me for leaving him.
He does take command well but sometimes ignores us.
Any tips on how to handle this ?

Re: mouthy
Nico is the same, doesn't really seem to ' test' me as much as he does with my fella, barks and mouths at Scott more but I honestly think its for attention as Scott is stricter with him than I am. Scott also plays with him in a more rough n tumble manner whereas I tend to play fetch or find it games instead of tug. Does any of that make sense to you?

Re: mouthy
Pixee use to mouth us when we first had her, we had to put a stop to it, as it was happening most times on walks when she got over excicted. We used a firm 'No' and ignored her. It did the trick after a few days. However she will try to mouth me in a playful way when I play with her in the house, without hurting, which is fine, but I do stay no biting, she stops, and we carry on playing.
