Maizie, Staffie, DOB 2011 – Warlingham, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Maizie seeks a stable family where her needs come first. She could happily live with another compatible dog or as an only dog. Maizie needs a secure garden or an area where she can enjoy safe off lead fun. She needs care with reference to exit management. She is in the process of being assessed in foster with cats or small furries.
Video: Hello Maizie
Video: Maizie the amazed!
Her Story: Maizie was found stray/abandoned in early summer and was unclaimed. She has waited 6 months in kennels and Rescue Remedies was asked to give her a chance. It's our pleasure! Maizie is neutered, chipped and completing vaccinations. Currently in Xmas foster with children of all ages, a playful dog, cats and small furries.
Advert: Maizie is amazing! She is social and fun. She is keen to meet, explore and so delights in life in general. Enthusiasm sums Maizie up and she connects well with her handlers so will come off lead in safe areas. She is interested in giving her love and basks in any praise and affirmation offered. Maizie has excellent dog skills and will fit in with a pack. Maizie is proven with young children and live in dog and cats!
Maizie is a small Black Brindle Staffie with a willing smile. Maizie is quite high energy; a busy person but will enjoy settling beside you on the sofa for cuddles. Maizie is just passing through, she will be snapped up soon, so if you hesitate all will be lost!
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
Please visit Maizie’s thread on our forum: http://rescueremedies.myfastforum.org/sutra137886.php#137886 to find out if she is still available and for fuller details.

An update from Maizie's fosterer:
"Maizie and Siz had their bath today, two happy lovely smelling hounds now.
Maizie with merlin the cat, not the best location but merlin owns the bathroom"!!
Maizie is still available for adoption – if you are interested in offering Maizie a home please complete our homing questionnaire on this link: https://rescueremedies.wufoo.com/forms/r7x3s5/

Re: Maizie, Staffie, DOB 2011 – Warlingham, Surrey HOMED
I'm not sure what happened, sorry. Happily Maizie has been able to go back in to foster. Here's an update on the lovely Maizie from her fosterer:
"Miss Maizie copes with everything you can give her. She is a delight to walk on the lead, we are very lucky and have a large field and woodland walks near us, Maizie loves a stick!! She will try many for size while on the walk in the woods.
Maizie loves a cuddle she is very soft and smells yummy especially after a bath!
Maizie is very well mannered with the human kind! Maizie gets on well with her best bud Siz my hound. She enjoys a bit of time with Merlin the cat and is full of cheeky chase when he decides it's playtime. There are small furries next door who move in their pen around the garden, sometimes they are very close to the fence! This is all good for Maizie, she is not bothered by them.
Maizie loves the children , she is very happy to see them after a busy day at school and will assist with any homework needed!!( mainly by sitting on the offending article)
Maizie enjoys company but can be left, she is a quiet dog and only woofs if she needs something or there is a strange noise outside.
Maizie isn't too good around horses and wide open windows, she will take the risk with both! This just needs careful handling.
Maizie's wish is for a human to call her own. To share her latter years with, to bond and be given time to grow, to be the special one. Maizie has so much to give you, what can you give her? Simple a new forever home."
