oh the ironey
Let the dogs out for a pee and they went absolutely booloo at next door. Heard two people jump fence while marley was making ungodley noises trying to get through... called police who came out in less than 5 mins and confirmed house was secure and that my dogs had saved them from being burgled...and these were the people that called my dogs unholy creatures... whats worse im sure they wont even say thankyou arseholes. At least I know fence is up tobjob as neither dogs or police could get through

Oh fantastic! Well done Marley and Laska.
Are your neighbours away? If they are, DO let them know - ever so kindly - how your horrible dogs saved them from being burgled!

Was taking the dogs out tonight and he was loading his van as he is a band member. I asked if police had been in touch and go a grunt back so said I guess not and that I stayed up waiting untill police turned up to make sure house was secure...blanked me...* * I must have laid down two inches of rubber down the road. Now its war and ill be * if I will do anything to help again. Really * off right now. My guys saved him from coming home to an empty house and all I get is ignored. No more, no more

Re: oh the ironey
What a pillock! If I were you I'd put an ever-so-kindly note through his door, explaining how you'd obviously happened on the wrong time to talk with him when he must have been so busy, but here is what you were trying to tell him in the spirit of good neighbourliness - your dogs scared people away from pillock's property, which police (whom you called) confirmed saved their house from being burgled. And the reason why you're telling them this is because obviously they'd want to know that their house had been threatened by burglars. Be nice and polite in your note and then leave it at that. They're obviously still sore about the cat incident, but you've done your best to mend fences in every way. Well, that is what I would do - there are few things worse than a war with your neighbours; this way neither of you lose face and then hopefully both sides can "keep calm and carry on".
Good luck

Great the dawgs did what we all kinda hope they will when the time is right ... sh!te there's d!ckheads around that far up their own ar$e
I've had similar ironic instance's with "anti 4x4" busy bodies in the past (a work colleague in particular), that had plenty to say about "gas guzzling 4x4's" .. but who did they look to for help in the snow when their sh!tty little car needed pullin out of a ditch and they were stranded!!!!

Dressded like they were on an arctic expedition used to get well peed off.
As for the neighbours, well f em I dont care anymore. They dont mean squat to me so why should I care? I tried to build bridges but if he insists on hiding whenever im about I cant do no more. Everyone that knws me will say how laid back I am but I dont suffer fools gladley. Whats does my head in most is that he thinks the dogs are dangerous yet even the two police officers that came around the other night loved them and were playing with them for ages. Does my nut in, its not the dogs he has to worry about if he keeps going on like this...

Kriky. That is great and terrible at the same time Nathan. Lots of people are just unthankful. Good for the dogs though! Makes you feel proud they are nice and alert!
