Made us laugh.

As I've mentioned on here before, whenever I come in and take my outdoor footwear off Bacchus always fetches my slippers ( expects a treat of course ). Well today I was working in the garden and had to come in to answer the call of nature. Not wanting to trek upstairs in my dirty boots, I took them off and headed for the toilet. Next thing he was running up the stairs behind me with my slipper in his mouth trying to bark to get my attention, but as he had his mouth full it was coming out as a woo woo woo instead of woof woof woof. The OH and I were in stitches.   
How can you not love them??

The way I trained Bacchus to do this was, when he was a pup and would try to kill my slippers, I would get him to "give" with a treat reward. I then added the word slippers and he began to fetch them when I said this. He will now go and fetch my slippers from anywhere in the house on command and has started fetching the OHs slippers whether she wants them or not.
