last will and testiment

Hiya was just wondering if anyone had made a will and included there pets. Me and the hubby went and made one on friday cause they had a deal on ha ha. And as the solicitor was asking questions I was gobsmacked when he asked about pets aparently its very comman to write who will take ownership and pay for the care ect in the event of your death.
I sound like a morbid sod but didnt think about the pets in the event of me popping off so now its all done and dusted.

I haven't a clue Gem, I have a will but haven't ever thought of Moo in it. I suppose cause everthings left to my mum.

We have the most wonderful friends Laurel and Mark.. they had a staffy Zak who got cushings disease and had to be put to sleep..now they have Angus the staffy . Jethro has stayed at their place for the odd night here and there when we were going somewhere, and he stayed with them for a week when we flew over to Sydney, NSW, to see The Goodies. Now they even let Jethro sleep on their bed with them!! ( that is the only place off limits to him here! ) In our will, it says Jethro is to go and live with them if we both peg out at the same time! We took Winston over there the other day..they already want to know when he can have a sleepover too!!

wow never thought about this, me and hubby have got wills, never thought of billy, think we will have to get it altered, thanks for bringing this up

I don't have a will yet, as it stands my mom would just decide what to do with everything. I'll have to talk to her about the pets. I wouldn't want them to go to the boyfriend's mom because she is really irresponsible with pets and lives on a very busy road.
