Lovely Rescue Story

I just read a lovely story in the Mail about a Staffie called Niamh who managed to escape her garden 9 years ago
and her lady owner never managed to find her.  Then this week the owner got a call from Bath Cats and Dogs home
to say that Niamh had been brought in as a stray in Salisbury 100 miles away from her original home in Worcester and identified by her microchip. Niamh is now 12 years old.

Staffie and owner have been reunited and the dog immediately recognised her owner.  Nobody knows where she
had been since 2004 when she escaped.  Even the rescue centre staff were in tears of joy.

A real lady (not the one in red), but sad for the owner that she was robbed of some valuable doggy years.
