Stickies are hatching!

The first one must have hatched last night. I saw it crawling up the enclosure this morning - she's so tiny! Her name's Sticky Bun and she has a lovely meal of ivy to chow down on while she waits for her sisters to hatch! 
Pics will have to wait until Saturday. Hopefully, I'll have my laptop back by then.

Well, finally! I bet you'd given up.
Can you get any privet leaves to feed them on? That's what my stickies ate when I had them as a child.

No privet, I'm afraid! They've settled to the ivy though. Another hatched last night. Her name's Twiglet!
Mum took some pics earlier, but this computer's been messing up in the last couple of days as well, so they might not be uploaded.

If you look towards the bottom of the ivy leaves you can just make her out...

No more hatches last night, but Sticky Bun and Twiglet are doing fine! 
Put me in a bit of a sticky (geddit? ) situation when they hatched. They'd taken so long, I thought the eggs had died. The Christmas tree is sitting where they would have been, so I've had to quickly find a new place for them!

Going to look into getting a different enclosure after Christmas, as this one really isn't practical. It opens from the top, so it isn't easy to manage the enrichment and stickies. It also has mesh walls, which is great for climbing and ventilation, but not so great for maintaining humidity levels.

Another delay, I'm afraid! Starting to look like the laptop won't be ready until after the New Year. The computer guy has ordered the part, but the company he ordered it from is claiming that it's been sent, even though he ordered it over a week ago. Pics as soon as I get my laptop back though - that's a promise!
