Encouraging News

So glad to say that Harry is showing some improvement today, so far not been sick or had the runs and he had some food this afternoon which he was keen for. Even greeting the Nurses from his cage now. Told for the first time today that his white blood cells had been raised yesterday but have come down a bit today so they consider the antibiotics are working. Still on drip but today they also added treatment for Giardia along with the other meds.

Can't put in to words how relieved I feel right now, but I guess you have all been in this position at some time or another and understand. Just hope tomorrows news is as good. At least I will be able to get to sleep tonight!

Great news, and no I haven't been in your position before, I bet its a horriable feeling. Any news of when he can come home?

I know exactly how you feel! The relief is almost something you can touch, isn't it? I'm so glad he's responding at last - you watch, he'll be back to his normal self before you lnow it!
