Its so annoying the dentist has offered me a sort of gum shield thing to put in at night! I think I may go with the cork!!

Hi I believe the normal ones you put in hot water so they are pliable and you can make them fit you better, if you have one the lottery the dentist can have one made to fit your teeth exactly, gotta be worth a try goodluck xx

I know a couple of people that have the gum shields and say they help. My daughter got one from the dentist and left it on her bed and Lily chewed it

Take the bite-guard from the dentist. I suffered with tooth grinding in my sleep from school till my mid-twenties. I literally ground away all of my back teeth at the top and am left with the front 8.
The bite-guard I was given was uncomfortable to wear and with hindsight I wish I had persevered with it a lot more and had it adjusted till it was comfortable.
