got any old jeans?

Just made two of these from one leg of an old pair of jeans



Need to find something strong to secure the bottom but got a new resilient Tuggy for flyball as the fleece ones just get shredded

What a fab idea I have a couple of pairs that are old.

I made Dempsey a toy out of my old jeans! Used the leg, filled it with old clothing, then stitched up the ends with strong material and bound them with thick elastic to stop any of the stitches from coming loose. He loves it!

My hubby did a very similar thing with an old bed sheet when we just got Rocky home from the rescue centre. Home made toys are always the best

yep even unsecured a strip of the denim has outlasted an entire fleece tuggy. Ledger is loving just chewing on a piece

When my dog was younger we used to use old socks tied in a knot - he is a smaller breed though. Dont think a sock would last lnog with a staff! hehe

Ahhh what a fabulous idea! Thank you for sharing! I usually make new toys out of the bits of string left off all their dead rope toys; I keep the left overs in a bag, I tie knots out of them for their fly ball, spring pole and flirt pole but they never usually last much longer than a freshly brought one

Thats is an awesome idea, I know what I'm making when I've got time now.

Brilliant idea!! I've used loads of old shirts which Rocky loves, and very cheap too, especially with the way they go through toys! Will have to give this a go

Busters favourite toy a leg of an old pair of jeans tied in a knot, usually last him a few weeks before he completely destroys them. Just running out of old jeans.
