Pyromania

Hi, just wondered is anyone has a pyromaniac dog like me? As its a bit colder, i lit the fire ( gas living flame) last night but we have to do it with an extra long match.

as soon as i get the match box out, Oz is next to me like a shot and wants to get the matchbox and chew the matches. Although i shoo him away, as soon as i light the match he is next to me again wanting the match. Once i have blown the match out he is desperate to pinch the match and chew it, although he never gets it he has managed to nick one off me

Is it the smell of the matches or is he just a loopy nutty dog??

It's a toy to him most probably. Rattly, small and fun.  

Think you have to watch your dog or next time you might find him outside with a magnifying glass in the warm sun and a pile of dry leaves trying to get it to ignite.

It could be the smell of sulphar that is fascinating to him,

I've decided he's just a nutter
