Not a Stafford……but totally shocked me
Just been watching The Dog Rescuers, episode 2 on Channel 5 catch up channel, and I have been reduced to tears by the story of Teddy, the Bichon Frise.
He was left with half a jaw after he was attacked by another dog, and I have never seen such a sad tragic story in all my life. Did anyone see this? The owners should be serving a jail sentence for what happened to that poor little mite. They just basically left him to suffer, with no vet treatment or any kind of basic care. SO shocking. Makes me so thankful to all you fab owners who have rescued. Was it not for the fact I have very young children, I most certainly would.

Yes I saw it, it was heartbreaking. Some people are so selfish and cruel

There are people out there who shouldn't own an ant let alone a dog.

I always wonder why these type of people arnt subjected to a psychological evaluation and then locked up... what sane person could do that to an animal? Surley they aren't fit to live in our society with a mindset like that, whats next??? A lack of basic feelings and comprehension of whats right or wrong makes them a danger to society no?

Completely agree with what Nathan said people who act cruelly to animals should receive far worse punishment than they normally do. When watching programmes such as the one mentioned so many times they get let off with a fine or to never own animals again. Next time it may not be an animal?

My staffy x was thrown off a balcony when he was a puppy. Makes me soooo sad that someone could treat him that way.

Re: Not a Stafford……but totally shocked me
I haven't watched either, but I can't watch sad animal things so I tend not to watch things like that just incase there's something bad! I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to that really such a shame though, was it a happy ending? Poor baby
