FAO Ella
Hi Ella
Hope you and family are good.
Just a quick question. Got a family member who wants to change to raw feeding. He has 4 Staffs, 2 pup and 2 2-4 year olds. He is getting a delivery off DAF next week. What would you suggest he gets? Just chicken? If so should he get loads of chicken chunks and chicken bones for his first month? What chicken bones from DAF are better for the pups?
thanks for any help Ella

Re: FAO Ella
Am here sorry Mike was a bit busy but we're all good!
If they have the room i'd order a number of chicken products and either some tripe/turkey products etc for following weeks once the dogs are settled on chicken, as it saves having to order straight away again.
I'd order the chicken mince seeing as though it's for 4 dogs, and carcasses and neck chunks. IF they have the room i'd personally order all the chicken options to get a good variety.
All the chicken bones are appropriate for pups, and carcasses are very good being larger it teaches them to crunch them up.

Re: FAO Ella
Oh forgot. I told him to try feeding them bones in the morning and the meat in the afternoon. Never fed pups raw before. How often do they need feeding or is bones in morning meat at night good for them too?

Re: FAO Ella
How old are the pups? they may still need 3 meals a day. I don't stick to much of a routine i just vary the diet, so a good amount of bone and meat, and adjust according to their poo
