is my staffie crossed with dalmation

is there a chance my staffie is crossed with dalmation he has black spots on his body and black markingings on head and ears

no they are skin spots, white staffies in particular have them it's very common. Both my dogs are white and both have skin spots

Mine is crossed with a Hyena so anythings possible  

Hi Katy didn't have a mark on her till about 8 months old, now she has a really spotty belly & if she gets wet they are all over her body so you are not alone  

Janey! lol. Think it is most likely crossed with a leopard.... Actually, my whities have spots too.

Chloe was almost pure white when we got her - she now has millions of spots - all under her white fur - perfectly normal :-)

Daisy has lots of black spots under her White bits!!

Jabba is the same, he was really white apart from a few larger brindle patches, now at 2.5yrs he looks like a dalmation he has that many spots on him!

if I remember correctly there is dalmatian in the staffy bloodline

Ozzie is mainly brindle with a white chest and belly. Everywhere he is white he has spots on his skin.
Its strange how their skin pigment has no effect on the colour of their fur.

Lola has the black spots, once when we were in the Post Office I overheard a child asking their Mum if Lola was a Dalmation  

My Ozzy is the king of sptty bellies, i think he is an upside down dalmation, funnily enough I asked teh same question but the guys here sorted me out

We'll have to compare their spotty bellies sometime   I've heard my eldest son say to people on a walk 'oh Lola's pure staffie, Chloe's part dalmatian'. I tell him 'SHE IS NOT!' but he's convinced! (He's 27 by the way!!)
