This is the code that you need to get the image to show: [***]https://i.servimg.com/u/f55/17/19/59/16/image12.jpg[/***]

(Replace the two instances of *** with the three letters 'img').

If you use this code, your image will look like this:

Very atmospheric.

You did the right thing by clicking the 'host an image' icon (11th from the right). With the dialogue box that comes up, select the file that you want to use from wherever you have stored it on your computer, and then click 'host it'. Some code gets generated. Simply copy and paste the relevant bit of code into your message, as formatted above. You may need to edit it slightly, as shown.

Images should be no more than 800px wide.

Sorry, I'm not an 'official' person. I think someone has posted some more elaborate instructions somewhere on this forum. Some people use photobucket, but I find the above is quicker.
