Christmas Presents
Do you give your near and dear ones a list to work from or figure it out as you go along?
I've gone OFF LIST for my OH's main presents this year. I'm so excited to give them to him now!! Fingers crossed he likes them

Re: Christmas Presents
I just leave the to it. The last time I gave my OH a list of ideas he bought everything on it so I kinda know that's what he'll do and I won't have a surprise

Re: Christmas Presents
I like surprises so I've given OH a few ideas but I've left the rest for him to decide!
This year I've got him a replica collectable of the Chucky doll from the child's play films because he loves them, an Everton shirt with his name and lucky number on, family guy season 12, armani aftershave and a nice hoodie.
I've also sponsored a dog with the dogs Trust in his name as a gift I had to choose from a list of dogs to sponsor (and was going to choose a staffy) but there was a lab called Rosie on the list and in her description it said she is greedy and loves her treats. So I pretty much HAD to pick her as she sounds just like me! I think he'll really like this gift because he always says our next dog will be a rescue

Re: Christmas Presents
My OH is useless with surprises and gift ideas so I usually just tell him

Re: Christmas Presents
We spend so much throughout the year on 4 kids, 4 cats, 2 dogs, and trying to do the house up, that we just buy each other one present. Hope he's taken the hint about Pandora earrings however

Re: Christmas Presents
We don't do big Christmas presents for each other anymore, instead we get a Christmas stocking and do a charge around the shops for little things that mean a lot without spending huge amounts. We found this means a lot more to us and it feels more like a traditional Christmas rather than a retail brag. We prefer to spend a bit more of our food and wines/beers rather than the presents and have some special meals together. Of course Rocky also has a stocking but gets lots of help choosing what to put in his.
