I'm sad....

Debo is healty, well behaved ( most of the time), happy, has lost of exerice but.... He's not my baby anymore  .
I know it might sound silly for you. I work day time and Mon and Tue I donn;t see him all day, I leave at 7am and back at 9pm. My OH works nights and he spends all day with Debo, he plays with him, walks him, makes new friends. And I feel left out. Well , I'm not saying Debo doesn't love me bad I can see he love my OH more. He fallows him everywhere. Sometimes when he won't see me for long time he will climb on my knees and go to sleep. But it's not the same. I'm happy that he's happy, but still....why do we have to work? Just had to get it out.

It can be hard, I work 5 days a week and Moo is with mum/walker/friend and I feel I miss out, but on my 2 days off we have an amazing time and I get her every evening

Aww it is hard to leave them behind while they have all the fun....and it's not with us, but the main thing is Debo loves you no matter what, and has a loving family that adores him!!! He will always love you unconditionally for that and a good fuss and treat to make up for your absence never hurts

Sadly going to work is all part of life and us mothers feel like we do miss out on all the fun stuff happening and seeing our babies grow up. We can never get this time back only make the most of the time we do have together and make each moment special. Extra cuddles for Debo when you are with him.

I know exactly how you feel, but it's the opposite way around for me.

I'm with Bruno almost all day and my partner works 8-6. When he gets home Bruno's attention all goes to him and I always feel like he likes him more but he doesn't. He just doesn't get to see him as often so he's a novelty.

I'm sure your boy loves you VERY much and you'll always be his mummy

I work 5 days a week, and am doing extra travel as a part of it so am gone for quite a bit longer than usual. We have people come by 2 to 3 times a day for a play to compensate, but I feel guilty all the same - and the close connection he now has with his day time carers makes it that much worse.

The reality is though that work pays for the food, insurance, vet bills and toys ... and I know I would be far more upset if he didn't enjoy spending time with his day play hoomans. So I spoil him with time and attention when I am home, and am thankful that he has such a great relationship with the people who do it when I can't.

Create Lots of special things to do when ou are together j of course lots of snuggles

Aw hun don't feel sad! I had biscuit for 18 months before my OH came along, and they absolutely adore each other! She'll go and see him before me everytime but I'm just so happy to see her happy around a man I'm more than happy to be second favourite I guess just be pleased they get on so well? Chin up

my o/h spends more time with Bailey than me, but I am just finishing 2 weeks holiday and Bailey is my little shadow, I cant even go to the loo without him wanting to accompany me?  I will miss our days together when I go back to work next week, but all good things come to an end  

I'm happy to see him happy and I know he has great life with us. The bond between my OH and Debo you can just see it nearly touch it. He shows me his love as well. When we don't see each other often he will come for a coudle and wants to as close as possible. But with my OH he fallows him everywhere. My boss told ( she has a dog too ) that Debo might do it because he thinks that my OH needs to be looked after and I'm the strong one. I like that theory.

Aww poor you it doesn't sound silly at all, sure Debo just is more fond of the hand that feeds him and walks him for those days. They are very fickle you know.  

ahh dont be sad,debo loves you loads,some times sash will want to be with me all the time and some times with my hubby,just make the most of the time you do have with him and remember they always love their mummy
