Teenage Strop Empty Teenage Strop

I think Caley is going through another teenage strop.  at wits end

My little angel who has been so well behaved for the past few months has turned into a sulky teenager.   Her list of crimes this week has been:

1)  Pulling alot on the lead
2)  Destroyed part of my kitchen chair, returned home to wood everywhere
3)  Destroyed a cushion...I was out of the room for 5 mins and returned to the front room to a carnage of stuffing everywhere and fluff hanging from her mouth looking innocent...I did honestly try my best to not laugh
4)  Sulking when we get home after she has been left
5)  Stealing shoes right before my very eyes, I swear she is grinning as she takes them as she looks me right in the eye and runs off
6)  Keeps throwing her stag bar under the settee and whining at me to get it out (12 times in one evening)

Trouble is she makes me laugh with some of them...chair is my fault, she has not touched them in months so we had stopped taking them out of the room...bad move...

The only one that does annoy me is pulling on the lead, our walks are no longer enjoyable.  I try stopping everytime she pulls, I try to get her attention...she just seems so focused on everything around her and gets excited at a leave blowing in her path.  Any other advice to try.

But other than that I wouldn't have her any other way. Lol. Big Grin

Persistent training and patience, I'm afraid! Tongues They do seem to go through naughty periods where their favourite activity is testing you!

Do you use a collar and lead or a harness when on walks ?

A Canny Collar or Halti may help with the pulling or rather to stop it.
