Bonfire Night :)
How are all your fur babies coping with the fireworks?
Otis is flat out in front of the fire and couldn't give a hoot Mind you I think he used to loud noises as the lads are always throwing steel beams around in work.
I also wasn't too fussed about going out tonight knowing it would be his first bonfire night.
Enjoy the fireworks everyone if you have gone out

Re: Bonfire Night :)
Despite doing everything humanly possible and having the music/tv up full blast Biscuit spent her evening trying to get to the conservatory where she was sure the noise was coming from, hackles up charging and barking. Hid any kongs or chews I gave her and went back to her mission. Finally got her to relax at about 10pm

Re: Bonfire Night :)
Well I had a hell of a night with Vin panting from 7.30pm to 11.45 pm.
He was trying to hide in the pantry, the utility room and would not go out for a toilet before bed.
Considered staying up with him but got his treats ready and put him in his covered crate, sat quietly in the other room for half an hour and not a peep! Mind I never slept a wink listening out for him, bless him he hadn't had a wee or poo and was aware I may have had an accident to wake up to!. But nope nothing he held on til this morning and has had his walk so hopefully no harm done.

Re: Bonfire Night :)
Thanks both, no Rach he has been fine since a pup, but on our walk about a week ago someone let a random one off and whether that spooked him am not sure. I was in tears last night cause I just couldn't help him. xx

Re: Bonfire Night :)
Last year, Zeus didn't give a damn about fireworks, but this year I don't know what's happened to him. He won't go in the back garden to wee (he wee'd in the living room instead), he keeps shaking, he won't play with anything (even his favourite tug toy), he just ain't been himself. So I've been drowning out the fireworks by playing loud music and putting the TV on full volume!

Re: Bonfire Night :)
We were supposed to be going out for dinner on Monday night then cancelled because of the fireworks, Rocky tends to bark at them but wasn't as bad this year as last year. Last night wasn't so bad only heard a few going off. I think most people did theirs at the weekend around here.
