Re: cut pad on tia !
Hi and welcome to the forum, unfortunately I've never experienced anything like this so unsure of how long it should take to heal, hopefully someone will be along with more experience soon.

Haha it does take a while to get used to, but it will get easier
If you just click on the lick I put in above, and create a new topic like you did here, and introduce yourself and tia, we would love to welcome you both!

Aww poor girly, I'd give your vet a ring to ask for some advice. Could you post a pic so we can see? https://staffy-bull-terrier.niceboard.com/t12017-how-to-post-a-photos-onto-the-forum

Re: cut pad on tia !
Is it a straight cut, or is there a flap of skin/flesh?
If it's a cut then I'd do as Steve says - keep it clean with salt water baths, wrap it up, maybe short lead walks with a bandage to keep it clean (or you can get waterproof disposable 'boots' at the larger pet stores) and keep an eye on it.
If it's a flap then I'd probably see the vet because they can get infected a bit easier than straight cuts.

Re: cut pad on tia !
Rocky did this earlier this year. We took him to the vets as it was a big cut, they gave him antibiotics and pain relief and wrapped it up with VetWrap which is a bandage containing lyra and is stretchy. No walks for about a week.
It took about 10 days to completely heal up.
