When is everyone putting their crimbo trees up? mine is going up next Saturday and i can't bloomin' wait!

 

Probably not until about 18th December  

we dont do xmas in this house anymore  we just hang up the xmas cards which i only get 1/2

You gotta be having a giraffe! mine goes up xmas eve and down day after boxing day!! 

 i loves my tree in fact i have 3 this year i can't wait

Even when I loved Christmas, they (and I often had two - one real, one white) didn't go up until 7 days before Christmas and came down on Twelfth Night. Now it (the white one) goes up when my son nags me about it, and comes down asap after Boxing Day. It's sad, I know. But honestly Ella - next week????!!!!!!

yep next week i always put it up the weekend after bonfire night and it comes down 12 days after crimbo, I'd be utter miserable if i waited just before christmas to put it up, i probably wouldn't bother at all, for me christmas is ALL of December and the lead up before it.

Never in a million years, way too early! Mine won't go up till 14 days or so before Christmas!

Doing things too early spoils Christmas imo.

Nah I was bought up putting the tree up in November, putting it up mid December is pointless IMO might as well not bother!

Christmas isn't just one day to me so can't spoil it plus I've already wrapped all my presents so they can go under the tree to!

I just can't stand all the hype & build up before Christmas - it's all designed to make people spend more. Far too commercial.

Christmas is one day a year.

This is what drives me so mad about Christmas - one way or another it takes up a whole quarter of the year. There was a fully lit Christmas tree outside B&Q a full two weeks ago, I wish I was kidding but I'm not.

It all takes the magic away from Christmas - a unique time of year now takes up a quarter of it.

to YOU it's one day to me it isn't, to me it's the shopping, watching films, seeing people yada yada leading up to the 25th  no need to spend a lot i never do, the money is such a small part of it!

Not having a tree this year! No point as we won't be home over Christmas!

No chrimbo tree or deckies at ours, we never do. I work right through Christmas, usually a 12 hour shift Christmas Day and my mum works nightshift on Christmas, we just do Christmas dinner pressies etc the first chance we get when we can all get together. Bring on new year and the vodka!

I work all through crimbo in fact all Xmas week always do no excuse

No tree for me this year either, won't be in the country for it so no point!

dont have one so nothing to put up lol. not much of a fan of christmas but 21st dec and the new year cheer me up, i like new starts
