PERO
Hi just wanted to pass on to everyone this brand as I had so many digestion problems with my female staffy and this brand really sorted it out and she loves it http://pero-petfoods.com/pero-staffordshire-bull-terrier-12kg.html

Re: PERO
Thanks for the recommendation, this isn't a food Rocky has ever tried but if we get stuck in the future may well give it a try.

Re: PERO
I was at a show today ( sponsored by Pero ) and got into the conversation with the owner of his litter sister who feeds both his boy and girl on Pero , apparently took about 4-6 weeks of perseverance to settle their stools but has been really good since ( 12 months plus ) so if we hit boredom on the Wainwrights then I may give it a go

Re: PERO
I have fed my girls on Pero SBT. It is a reasonably priced mid range food. Lily does great on it but Lola has a funny tummy whatever she has. Of all the Pero brands it has the best ingredients list, although a lot of people think it is gimmicky I think it is ok

Re: PERO
I'm one of those who think it's gimmicky! Along with food specifically for neutered dogs.
You can get equally good food, probably cheaper. Breed specific food is, imo, a waste of time.

Do take care, though, acorns are poisonous to dogs!

Re: PERO
Ledger loves this moved to it about 18 months ago when he went off JWB, I buy in bulk 3 x 12kg bags at a time so get 10% off and it free delivery usually next day
I did the trial bag to begin with and they used to give you a free box of treats and a £5 voucher off your next order

Re: PERO
It's an ok food - nothing really bad about it - but there are better, cheaper ones.
Having said that, if your dog's doing well on it, then stick with it!

What would you say was better and cheaper Caryll ?

Re: PERO
I'd prefer to go with, say, Fishmongers Finest from Pets at Home, or Wainwrights. I'm pretty sure both compare well with price.
There are even better foods, but they're a lot more pricey - Millie's Wolfheart and Eden are two very good quality foods.
