The stuff you accumulate..

Okay, so right now I'm living in a teeny tiny studio apartment. It's amazing how much stuff I've got in here, but still there are limitations. So - when I moved here I left some boxes of stuff I didn't want to part with, but didn't really need, in the basement of my mother's house. After 3 years I didn't really remember how much, or what exactly, so while visiting yesterday I took a trip to the basement. I was hoping to bring back the box of dog stuff that I knew I had there. I also hoped I still had a vari kennel crate there (couldn't remember if I had stored it or sold it).

I found I still had the crate! Yay! I also found I still had the cool dog bed from Ikea (Like this: http://www.adressa.no/multimedia/archive/00959/hundeseng1_959174a.jpg) , that I didn't remember I had saved (my mom didn't much like me keeping anything there, so didn't think it would be much) I had 6 boxes of books and other assorted stuff I'd kept and I also found the box of dog stuff. Lucky for me it was a closed plastic box, as there had been mice all over, and some of my things were destroyed (turned into nesting material or ruined by mouse droppings). Once I came home I looked through it properly to see what I had
- 22 (!) collars of various sizes
- 3 show leads
- the outer layer of a coat with legs.. wonder if the fleece will turn up somewhere
- 4 leather leashes, 2 long, 2 short
- 1 nylon puppy leash
- 2 tracking lines
- assorted whippet lure coursing stuff (slip lead, 3 racing muzzles, racing blankets)
- custom bitch britches (and matching collar)
- t-shirts ("obey the pug" and "whippet of mass destruction")
- Coco's food bowl (pink with crowns and "queen of everything")
- dog backpack
- boxes of treats (probably a little outdated by now..)


Yikes.. all the stuff you accumulate over time!?!! Doesn't really look like I need to buy much stuff for puppy, huh?!

Don't know what you mean!?! Still at least 3 harnesses remain missing.. Was quite disappointed they weren't in this box. Perhaps they'll turn up somewhere else... *hoping*

They don't sell the beds any more as far as I know, at least not around here.

i am a hoarder as well, billy is still young so have no where near as much as that, i just think they are nice memories

Yeah.. That's about it. I'm a collar-holic, that's for sure. And that despite being a firm believer in harnesses for most occations. Three dogs of my own, each a different size so they couldn't share stuff + a few hand-me-downs helped me a bit on the way, though.
