Is he a cross......
Im so frustrated with how many people are asking me if Ron Dog is a cross even my vet of all people... I got him at 10wks didnt see his parents as he was bought and unwanted. Yes he has big feet, a big head and not a typical staffy smile... but he is 6mth old and not fully grown -does it matter if he is a full staff or a cross - he is my Ron Dog and I love him millions.
Staffs come in all shapes and sizes and I wish people would see him for being a cute lovely dog and not question if he is a full staff.

Re: Is he a cross......
When Staffords are growing which is up to the age of about 2 they go through all sorts of funny stages! Big ears, small head, long legs only when he's stopped growing will you know how he's going to look, but as you said, who cares, he's a beautiful, loved well cared for dog, what does it matter if he's a Stafford or Stafford X you will love him regardless he's a very handsome boy

Re: Is he a cross......
He looks full staffy to me. My last boy went through a very similar stage before his head grew at around 10-11 months. Very leggy and nosey lol! He is lovely regardless:)

He looks fine to me. I often think that when they are little they don't always look like a staffy. You'll probably find he'll change as he grows.

Re: Is he a cross......
As you never saw the parents, you'll never know!
But even if he is a cross, he certainly looks mainly Stafford, and at 6 months he still has a few development stages to go through!

Re: Is he a cross......
Me & Ron Dog say thanks to everyone who has posted. Not knowing how he is going to turn out makes him more interesting.
Ive not done the staffy puppy stage for 16yrs inbetween I have done rescue so used to getting a fully grown dog - so people doubting him does make you question if you have a full staff but like I said I love him regardless.
He said he is gonna post a sexy selfie each month so you can see what he turns into

Ron is very handsome anyway, so long as you love him what does it matter, don't stress about what other people say.

Re: Is he a cross......
if you research the breed he looks very close to the original staff its only the past few decades the "bull head" became dominent as it was much more sort after. just look at pictures of the breed over the last 5 decades and you will see what i mean
