all ok ?

morning all hope every one is alright after the storm last night/morning?just dropped hubby off at the boat,he normally rides his scooter but thought as i have day off today i would take him,very surprised they were running as they cancelled most of them last night.he's just texted me as there's 80 miles winds in the solent now and the boats rolling like a good one  ,hope this storms over soon.

We ok her just rain and winds not bad at all, hope he's home save and sound soon

really scary here,there was just a huge flash in the sky dont know what it was,just lite some candles in case of power cut,they have stopped all the ferries from the island now,hubby just foned to say he was safe at work.

Least you don't have to worry so much now if he's in one place ooh I don't like storms

they have just said on the local news that the island has the strongest winds recorded,99 mph off the needles,hope it stops soon

Sleep pattern is all over the place and my pain I can't seem to control, my shoulder is coming in nicely after the op sore still but ok but my back pain is if the scale thanks stella

guess its just time to heal after that sort of op,glad to hear its getting a little better thou lovey

Barely slept a wink thanks to the storm/noisy broken radiator and had very strange dreams in the little sleep I did get so I've woken up knackered. Can't see any storm damage yet but might come across some on my way to work.

Have just seen Bruno blown off his feet mid-dump by a rather large gust of wind. The giggle I got from that didn't really make up for it all though!

I was watching Sky News this morning and people were swimming in Blackpool   

Been ok here, wasn't as bad as expected. My Mum spent all day yesterday worrying, she gets stomach ache and cant eat if she knows its going to be windy, so thank god for her it was ok.

Hayley, have you ever tried using a TENS machine ? I found it really works well for my back pain.

I have in the past but not lately, may get this one it looks better than the one I've got I think it provided more of a distraction rather than pain relief but will give it another go thanks Kathy

It got a bit windy here last night, and it's been raining a lot, but nothing too bad. In fact it's very quiet here at the moment.

I can hear the wind outside again tonight, I hope it doesn't get too bad.

I woke up this morning and thought storm? what storm? Then I walked Kuchar around and the river was full and big branches had blown off the weeping willows everywhere. One across my path which we struggled through (I wasn't going to turn back) and one across a footbridge. Not as bad as 1987 but worse than I initially thought. I closed my window last night so slept through it all!

Stella, I know the IOW got the strongest winds so am relieved to hear that you and your hubby are OK.

Hayley, I'm so sorry to hear your back is still feeling so bad - I really hope it eases soon and that the end result of all you have been and still are going through will be worth it      

Yikes! I thought our wind was bad. I will not complain about it anymore (until I do). Glad to hear everyone is ok... especially Bruno.
