Getting Quite Windy

It is starting to get very windy here in sunny Bedfordshire apparently we are supposed to have gusts of about 80 mph tomorrow morning  I hope it doesn't get that bad  

Did wonder if this was weather related or a personal confession Kathy    

Picking up here too Kathy, we are supposed to get the worst of it!

been windy here all day,managed to get two lots of washing dry thou!

Same here does have it's bonuses

skies gone very black,think its going to lash it down in a bit,been tidying up the garden this afternoon making sure there's nothing the wind could blow around,go careful out there every one

haha I did think on the beach when I was getting blown over "Why didn't I hang the washing out?!" I bet it smells lovely and fresh - so much better than tumbling it  

We've just bolted the gate from the car port into the garden - the girls are having to go into the garden via another door and are looking a bit confused bless them   Bit sad of me, but worrying about a new pear tree I planted this spring - it's getting blown over 45 degrees at the moment................

All calm here just very dark....

The cats are all spooked (up on the top of cupboards/scratching to get in understairs cupboards) so I guess that's a sign we're in for a stormy night...........

been a bit gusty all day but nothing to bad. sounds like its starting to get a bit stronger now though. should be an intresting walk at half six if it keeps getting stronger

It's getting a bit blowy here as well - & that's not just Dempsey!

Sky News are really building this one up , current path of the storm means we will just be on the edge of it so hopefully not too bad , wouldn't care really if it wasn't for the fact that our chimney stack has seen better days and my car is parked under it , 1 way of getting out of work tomorrow though   

It seems to be getting a bit worse here tonight, we did have some rain too earlier. I'm sure Rocky wont mind curling up under the duvet with me later

Been raining on and off most of the day here , me and the kids got caught out in a bad one earlier

Hope it doesn't turn out to be as bad as they say for those of you in its path x

Freaky...just been out for a walk and all the wind has gone. Eirily quiet, warm and quite nice tbh.

Yes Nath its like that here, very eerie so calm and quiet. I think its suppose to come in around 2am here  

Yeah absolutely still a couple hours ago when I took Ledger out, believe its due to hit north Shropshire about 2am just wondering whether to bother getting some sleep in first might be fun to watch as the trees in the park behind us topple without much effort at the best of times

I hope you didn't all get blown away last night, I don't think it has been as bad around here as predicted on the weather forecast. It was quite windy and rainy during the night but didn't see that anything had been blown down this morning while I was out with Rocky.

The sun is shining now have just put some washing out on the line which will probably be dry in about an hour as it is still windy.

Quiet here too Kathy though very dull and I have washing to go out so don't know if I should risk it  

I think it will be turning wet a little later so hold on with your washing Inez.

Yes think I will have no tumble dryer so will have to go on the airer
