No I am not Steve, my Mum hates the wind and hides in the utility room in the corner!  

no i didn't know till today but the last time we had wind that 80mph there was a lot of damage power went off

depends which direction it is blowing , bit like hills really , easy one way and the other is tough

maybe I will regret not getting round to having the decrepid chimney taken down then  

Comes to something when my home insurance company emailed out a 'useful things for storms and floods' list out

heard of it yesterday and tesco's was packed last night like everyone was expecting it to be blown away on monday.... no point in it as if it does get blown down i'll be there sifting through the rubble lol

Not much I can do to make myself ready. I guess I'm as ready as I'm gonna be!

It'll be worse on coastal areas. Hoping the damage won't be too substantial.

Everyone was stock piling at sainsburys. creased me up I bet it won't be that bad, I love freak weather though

Its the SW/SE that are really supposed to get hit....it won't be bad, its like when everyone panics when we get a mm of snow  

now you said that it's going be worse then the experts thinks

It won't it will be a little blustery!  

I'm just hoping it won't be as bad as the hurricane in 1987. The devastation was enormous although I was fortunate in that the wind went alongside my house. This time it will be coming from the SW so it might be worse, especially as there is a big tree right by my brand-new, very expensive, Kuchar-proof fence. Fingers crossed everyone!

I hope it doesn't uproot our cherry tree  

I have a big pile of garden rubbish in my garden that I need to get rid off, hedge and tree cuttings, maybe the wind will dispose of it for me!  

we had power cuts this morning and its not even here yet,we're right on the south coast so im a bit scared really,going to try and get in the garden tomorrow and move things that could get blown around.

Thats not good Stella, when its not even here yet!  

i just managed to wash n dry my hair when it went off,could'nt go to work with scarecrow hair

Well I'd done my main shop but just in case I've done a quick run to Asda to stock up on the red wine I'm liking at the moment (also only £4 a bottle)
